PRIVATE TRAINING
Private lessons allow you and your dog to meet with our trainer weekly and work together towards your training goals. Skills learned in sessions will then be applied at home to cultivate a strong relationship to better serve your lifestyle.
New clients start with a package of 3-7 lessons, and follow-up single sessions can be purchased after completion of a package/program. Sessions generally last 60-90 minutes.
Clients in the greater Burlington area may choose to conduct lessons in-home when appropriate, generally after initial lessons occur in our facility.
This program is not appropriate for more severe behavioral cases.
Basic training gear is included in the price (training tool, long line, treat pouch), if your program includes e-collar or if a muzzle is necessary, cost for those tools will be in addition to the stated price of the service..
3-Lesson Puppy Package
($499)
This 3-session series focuses on basic puppy management strategies at home, direct and indirect socialization, marker conditioning, recall foundations, and Place/settle work.
Phone and email support is available between sessions as you implement the program at home. A long line and treat pouch is included in the cost of the program.
5-Lesson Manners Package
($825)
This package is generally tailored for adult dogs with a more developed behavior set. This covers basic obedience, leash walking, recall, and Place in more depth. The cost includes necessary gear and a training collar if applicable.
Through weekly in-person sessions, we will work to implement strategies to help improve your dog’s behavior across the board. Phone and email support is available between sessions as you implement the program at home.
Completion of this training package grants access to our follow-up training services where appropriate, including our weekly on-leash Pack Walk and open Training Club sessions.
7-Lesson Behavioral Package
($1,099)
While this package will include and solidify foundational obedience, leash walking, and other lifestyle skills, it is tailored for adult dogs with mild to moderate behavioral challenges that require more depth in its approach. This program involves e-collar or muzzle conditioning as needed. (E-collar or muzzle is not included in price.)
Phone and email support is available between sessions as you implement the program at home.

We signed up for 5 training sessions with Ross for our energetic 2 year old blue heeler mix, and it truly was a great decision to work with him. We really needed help with our dog’s leash training & leash anxiety/aggression to help him with his social skills as well as his ability to consistently follow commands well.
